Overview:

2020 Companies, in partnership with our client, Meta, is now hiring part-time Meta Sales Specialists! 

Pay: $23 per hour

Schedule:  PT Monday – Thursday required; Occasional Weekend Event work

The Meta Sales Specialist drives sales and brand awareness for Meta’s wearable technology across assigned wireless carrier locations. This role travels within the market to build strong relationships with carrier leaders and sales teams, deliver engaging product training, and execute in-store sales strategies. As a brand ambassador, you’ll engage customers, generate excitement, and close Meta and carrier product sales.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated sales professional with strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, territory-based role. Success in this role requires energy, adaptability, and a talent for turning product knowledge into measurable sales results.

Job Description:

  • Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets for Meta's wearable and carrier products within the assigned market.
  • Carrier Engagement: Build strong relationships with carrier leadership, employees, and customers.
  • Product Training: Conduct engaging and informative training sessions for carrier staff on Meta product features, benefits, and sales techniques.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement creative sales strategies to maximize product adoption and market share.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers at carrier locations, demonstrating product value and closing Meta and carrier technology solutions.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Meta as a passionate and knowledgeable brand ambassador, creating excitement and enthusiasm for the products.
  • Market Management: Effectively manage assigned markets, including scheduling visits, tracking progress, and optimizing sales efforts.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Meta products, carrier technology, and industry trends.
  • Sales Reporting: Regularly report sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with wireless carrier team members to achieve overall sales goals.
  • Foster positive partner Field and Store relationships by adapting to local retail store environments, respecting established hierarchies, and adhering to all operational policies while representing 2020 companies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing is preferred
  • An interest in wearables, specifically AV and VR products, is a plus
  • Ability to engage, inspire, demonstrate, and ask for the sale
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential
  • Impeccable integrity and a genuine commitment to exceeding customer expectations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment; motivated to achieve sales targets
  • Availability to work weekdays and occasional weekend shifts required
  • Own a smartphone with an equivalent operating system of an iPhone 11 or Samsung S25; tech-savvy
  • Ability to stand, walk around, reach, pick up, bend, and grab approximately 20 lbs. occasionally, with continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation
  • Reliable transportation to arrive on time for scheduled visits.
