In this role, you will:
- Providing a suite of electronic payment processing solutions to business clients including Point of Sale (POS) systems for Terminals, Ecommerce and Mobile Solutions.
- Educate business customers on processing compliance and security solutions to securely accept electronic payments.
- Role focuses on prospective customers using pre-established leads or leads generated through various channels.
- Assesses profiles and analyzes merchant's needs, creating customized proposals and effectively managing relationships from origination through activation.
- Partner with other areas of Wells Fargo Merchant Services and other Wells Fargo lines of business.
- Responsible for telephone support to customers and prospects that are contacting Merchant Services Call Center.
- Addresses client needs by following established protocols to resolve inquiries pertaining to interchange, funding, billing and the electronic payments industry.
- Assist clients with account set-up on varied front-end and back-end technology combinations for multiple industries.
- Support all inbound calls from customers and prospects.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Merchant Services or Contact Center Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bilingual English & Spanish
Desired Qualifications:
- Call center sales, financial services, or products and services sales experience
- Merchant Services experience is highly desired
- Outbound sales pipeline management experience
- Experience working a position with sales responsibilities
- Experience supporting inbound customer service calls
- Knowledge and understanding of financial document processing in a corporate environment
- Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements and disclosures
- Experience identifying customer needs and advanced problem solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Basic knowledge and understanding of financial products and services
- Experience with sales lead management CRM systems (Sales Force/MS Dynamics)
- Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Ability to manage production goals, deadlines, and various metrics
Job Expectations:
- Must be available to work between 8am - 8pm CST, Monday - Friday
- Work schedule after training between 9:00am - 6:30pm
- Must be available to work hybrid schedule:
Mondays & Fridays remote - Tuesday-Thursday in office - This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Training Schedule:
- You will receive structured classroom training, continue on-the-job training, and side by side mentorship.
- Training class lasts for 3 weeks, and you must attend entire training.
- Training hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST.
