The Project Manager supports the successful execution of Medical Record Retrieval projects by coordinating day to day activities, maintaining project documentation, assisting with internal and external communication, and supporting issue tracking and resolution. This role focuses on internal operational execution and workflow coordination, escalating risks appropriately, and ensuring tasks move forward. This is a client facing role, requiring weekly meetings to review project outcomes. Team member will work closely with co-workers, supervisor and cross functional teams to maintain program momentum.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

- Support project execution across assigned region for medical record retrieval workstreams, tracking progress and updating timelines as needed
- Prep for and lead weekly client meetings, work sessions, and milestone reviews
- Maintain project trackers, status reports, and documentation to ensure accuracy and transparency to client
- Monitor daily operations and escalate risks, delays, or issues to the Senior Project Manager and/or client, providing clear and timely communication of status, issues, risks, and decisions
- Utilize large datasets to analyze operational trends and implement corrective actions; monitor key metrics such as retrieval rate, call quality, and turnaround times
- Support process-improvement initiatives by collecting observations, documenting gaps, and recommending small enhancements
- Support creation of training material for new hires and cross trained team members as needed
- Contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practice documentation
- Actively participate in problem solving and cross-team follow up activities
- Additional responsibilities that support execution of the retrieval program or project success
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retrieval operations

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in medical record retrieval and risk adjustment, HEDIS, or RADV
- Proven knowledge of the US healthcare system
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels
- Proven problem solving, analytical thinking, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare operations, client services, or project management roles
- Experience in cross functional team environments
- Demonstrated familiarity with medical record retrieval or risk adjustment workflows
