Role Overview
We’re looking for a high-energy Media Strategist dedicated to brand enablement for Crypto Banter. This role is focused on offensive growth; securing the world's biggest stages, booking top-tier guests and ensuring Ran remains the most prominent voice in global crypto conversations. We aren’t looking for a spokesperson; we need a relentless networker who knows how to open doors and close deals.
What you'll do
- Secure Global Stages: Identify and target top-tier crypto and tech conferences (such as Token2049) and relentlessly pursue keynote slots and high-impact speaking opportunities
- Master Guest Bookings: Own the guest pipeline for our LIVE streaming channels; you will identify, vet, and book, influential crypto personalities, financial and investing experts, and high-profile commentators to appear on our shows
- Expand Media Footprint: Proactively pitch Crypto Banter personalities as guests for leading external podcasts, global news outlets, and digital media platforms to amplify the Banter brand beyond our own network
- Source and Scrutinise Opportunities: Evaluate every incoming media request; you will interrogate the value, negotiate terms, and ensure that the the teams time is spent only on high-impact brand growth opportunities
Your skills and experience
- Relentless Networking: You’ll have a proven network in crypto and traditional finance, with direct access to financial media and key analysts. You have established relationships with major industry commentators and are an expert at cold-pitching high-net-worth individuals and negotiating with event organisers for premium billing
- Results-Driven Mentality: You have a background in high-pressure environments—talent management, high-end booking, or logistics—where you are judged on your ability to deliver outcomes
- Crypto Literacy: You have a burning passion for crypto and endlessly consume crypto content; you’re up-to-date with news and relevant personalities in the space, avidly following topical themes and aligning interesting guests with topics that appeal to our audience
- Operational Reliability: You are comfortable handling complex schedules and sensitive information with total discretion and 100% accuracy
- Direct Communication: You speak and write clearly in English. You can draft a pitch that gets a "yes" from a busy executive in three sentences or less
- Hustle and Resilience: You thrive in a "media 2.0" movement that works harder than anyone else in the industry; you are adaptable, energetic, and focused on the win
