This is an unpaid placement of four months. It starts in January 2027, takes around fifteen hours of your week, and is fully remote. You do not have to be a student, and we have no requirement about what you studied or whether you studied at all.
What you would actually doEvery week you take one topic from our content calendar and carry it the whole way. That means five published pieces a week: a long-form article for our blog, a post for LinkedIn, a thread on X, an Instagram carousel and a short Instagram reel. You write them, you make the artwork, you proofread everything against our house style, and you publish and schedule it yourself across all five accounts. Two weeks later you go back and record how each piece performed. Once a month you run the research that decides what we write about next.
You do this from a written procedure rather than from somebody standing over you. We pair with you for the first two cycles, and after that the week is yours to run.
If you want to apply, the subject line of your email is “Placement application – ” followed by the name of one of the five things we publish every week, listed above. We read the subject line before we read anything else.
What you leave withMore than fifty published pieces with real numbers attached to them. A portfolio file we build with you as you go and export for you at the end. It holds every carousel and reel as a file, every article as a link, a line on each one saying what you did, and the figures for how it performed. A written reference. And a named person here who will take a call about you.
We are not offering experience and exposure, because those words cost us nothing and are worth nothing to you.
Who this suitsSomebody who makes things already, whether or not anybody is paying them to. Somebody who can be edited directly and get interested rather than defensive. Somebody who would rather read a procedure than ask a question that the procedure already answers, and who will tell us when the procedure is wrong.
You do not need Adobe, a design degree, or any certificate. If your Canva work shows you can control type and space, that counts for more here than the software you own.
How we work, so that you can decideOur editing is direct and it is not personal. Every draft comes back marked up, and in the first month most of it will be marked up. If that sounds like the wrong arrangement for you, it probably is, and we would both rather know now.
How to applySend us three things you made, with links. Any medium, and it does not have to be marketing: a newsletter, a student magazine, a video account, a zine, a modification for a game, a set of photographs. For each one, tell us in a line or two what you used to make it, what you made yourself, and what came with the template or the tool. If you used Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini anywhere in it, say what it did and what you did – we use these tools ourselves and we are asking out of interest rather than suspicion.
Then tell us which of the three is the weakest, and what you would change. One hundred and fifty words.
Last, and this one is optional: name one thing Sigma Growth Specialists should be doing on social media and is not. Two sentences.
No curriculum vitae and no cover letter. Applications to [address].
