The Media & Analyst Relations Manager is responsible for elevating AHEAD’s brand visibility and thought leadership through strategic public relations, media engagement, and analyst relations. This role serves as the primary liaison with AHEAD’s PR agency, connects subject matter experts and senior leaders with media opportunities, and curates relationships with key B2B analyst firms. The manager will also drive award and speaker opportunity identification and application, ensuring AHEAD’s expertise is recognized across the industry.

Roles & Resposibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for AHEAD’s PR agency, ensuring alignment on messaging, campaigns, and deliverables. 
  • Understand how AHEAD’s goals, expertise, and point of view translate to current industry trends and topics to effectively collaborate with the agency team. 
  • Collaborate with AHEAD subject matter experts and senior leaders to identify and secure media opportunities, including interviews, bylines, and commentary. 
  • Curate internal content and develop messaging for relevant company news, including partner-related news, talent-related news (new executives, significant promotions), and growth stories. 
  • Manage the creation, approval, and distribution of press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials, which may include drafting less strategic releases such as partner announcements and awards. 
  • Curate a short list of AHEAD spokespeople to pitch for quick response commentary on breaking news announcements within the industry and partner ecosystem. 
  • Set and track PR-related KPIs and report on media coverage, share of voice, and PR campaign effectiveness. 
  • Update ARCHIE intranet site with the latest company news and accolades.  
  • Curate and maintain a comprehensive list of B2B analyst firms and key analysts covering AHEAD’s core solution areas. 
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with AHEAD’s senior leadership and thought leaders who are vital to successful analyst relations. Coordinate and schedule analyst briefings, inquiries, and research engagements across AHEAD’s areas of expertise. 
  • Prepare briefing materials and ensure AHEAD’s messaging is consistent and impactful in all analyst interactions.  
  • Monitor analyst research agendas and identify opportunities for AHEAD to be included in relevant reports and market assessments. 
  • Proactively research and maintain a calendar of technology and business award nominations and speaking opportunities at relevant conferences and events. 
  • Lead the application process for awards and speaking engagements, including drafting creative and compelling submissions. 
  • Work with PR agency team to schedule media interviews at industry events featuring AHEAD senior leadership on-site.  
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather supporting materials and ensure timely, high-quality award applications. 
  • Track outcomes and maintain a calendar of key industry events, deadlines, and results. 
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in PR, media, and analyst relations. 
  • Support crisis communications and reputation management as needed. 
  • Collaborate across the brand marketing teams as needed for social media, brand strategy, client marketing, and web team to update PR-related content on the website. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience in public relations, media relations, or analyst relations, preferably in B2B technology or professional services. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing agency relationships and coordinating with senior leadership. 
  • Experience working with B2B analyst firms (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, IDC) and understanding of the analyst relations process is a plus.
  • Record of securing media coverage and industry awards for a technology or consulting organization is a plus.

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
