Salary: $125,000 - $175,000

What You Get To Do:
  • Own mechanism design from initial concept through build, test, and customer deployment.

  • An opportunity to work on a wide range of engineering problems: electro-mechanical design, fluid systems, test and validation, and electrical thermal management design.

  • The opportunity to work with a cross functional team of perception engineers, controls, mechanical design, and software architecture.

  • Travel to industry customers to visit aquaculture farms and boats on east and west US coasts, as well as Mexico.

What You Will Need:
  • B.S./M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Background (experience, portfolio, side projects, coursework) in physical prototyping, mechanism design and misc. mechanical engineering projects

  • Experience with CAD tools (NX preferred)

  • Hands-on experience with machining, fabrication methods and rapid prototyping

  • Exposure to robotics or embedded systems a strong plus

  • Ability to work onsite full time in El Segundo office in Los Angeles

  • Mid-level to senior-level role

  • Minimum experience of 2 years, but more preferred
