Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer – Offshore Reliability will be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of offshore mechanical equipment by developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs. The role involves utilizing CMMS systems to plan, monitor, and optimize maintenance activities, ensuring safe and efficient offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for offshore mechanical equipment.
Utilize CMMS to plan, schedule, and track maintenance activities and equipment history.
Monitor equipment performance and reliability to minimize downtime and operational risks.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective actions for equipment failures.
Support offshore maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company maintenance procedures.
Coordinate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
