Job Summary

  • The Testing Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of test specialists supporting Quality Assurance (QA) and testing activities for REST APIs and enterprise software applications
  • This role oversees the planning, execution, and reporting of testing efforts to ensure systems meet functional, performance, and operational requirements
  • The Testing Manager collaborates with developers, engineers, DevOps teams, and stakeholders within an Agile environment to support successful delivery of secure, reliable, and high-performing applications, including Low-Code/No-Code solutions within the ServiceNow platform

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of test specialists and QA personnel supporting software and API testing efforts
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage test programs and QA activities across multiple projects and development cycles
  • Develop and execute system, regression, acceptance, end-to-end, and performance testing strategies
  • Oversee testing of REST APIs and ServiceNow platform integrations, supporting Low-Code/No-Code application development
  • Collaborate with development, engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the software lifecycle
  • Analyze system behavior, identify defects or performance issues, and provide actionable recommendations for resolution
  • Evaluate output data and system performance against documented requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Support and maintain test automation and CI/CD integration using tools such as Jenkins, Git, and GitHub
  • Coordinate defect tracking, test reporting, and quality metrics to provide visibility into testing progress and risks
  • Interface with clients and stakeholders to communicate testing results, risks, and quality status
  • Apply advanced testing methodologies to address system limitations, integration challenges, and operational constraints
  • Support continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and testing standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
  • Experience testing software applications, including:
    • System testing
    • Regression testing
    • Acceptance testing
    • End-to-end testing
    • Performance testing
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment
  • Experience testing and supporting REST APIs
  • Experience with ServiceNow APIs and Low-Code/No-Code platforms
  • Knowledge of System Operations, Engineering, and DevOps integration
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and GitHub
  • Experience leading teams and managing testing programs and QA efforts
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • Must possess an IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive clearance or Tier 3 (T3)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with API management/integration platforms such as MuleSoft
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Experience supporting federal or enterprise-scale IT environments

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
