As a Material Specialist at Micron Technology, you will play a key role in supporting semiconductor manufacturing operations through accurate data management, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. You will demonstrate your skills in data entry, communication, and critical thinking to drive improvements in departmental key performance indicators (KPIs), promote a culture of safety and quality, and mentor peers in standard processes for warehouse materials management.

Responsibilities
  • Implement accurate and timely data entry and analysis across multiple Micron systems, including but not limited to SAP, Matreq, Packtrack, Hotrec, Resolve, Workday, Shipdoc, Ariba, and OJTCERT.
  • Own and document shift-level workload and project completion, ensuring visibility and accountability.
  • Communicate effectively with Supervisors, Purchasing, IT, Facilities, and internal customers to resolve issues and complete tasks.
  • Lead or support team initiatives focused on quality improvement, process optimization, and system enhancements.
  • Represent the department in cross-functional teams and contribute to broader operational goals.
  • Uphold and promote Micron's safety standards and quality expectations in all activities.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow area procedures safely and efficiently.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in warehouse operations or inventory management.
  • Familiarity with Micron systems and tools (SAP, Ariba, etc.).
  • Proven adaptability to change and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
