- Develop, maintain and status project/program schedules
- Manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and schedule baselines
- Allocate resources for all Level of Effort (LOE) and Task Dependent scheduling activities
- Provide critical path analysis and create "what if" scenarios; provide recommendations to project owners to achieve scheduling targets
- Participate in scheduling discussions to create project schedules and determine relationships with other projects
- Assist technical experts establish milestones and provide support to monitor adherence to the master schedule by identifying programmatic problems and providing recommended solutions
- Foster scheduling best practices by developing and presenting training while at the same time promoting the best-fit practices for our program environment
- Identify and track risks and opportunities
- Recommend and participate in scheduling process improvement discussions
- Adhere to established scheduling documentation, processes and work instructions
- Compose clear and concise reports and business correspondence
- Participate in Quality Audits, Customer Assessments, and Special Projects, as required
- Build collaborative internal relationships with the program team of Planners, Project Analysts, and Quality Assurance Reps
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience or 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with one or more applications such as Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, or OPP.
- Experience with MS Excel and advanced database analysis
- Experience creating and managing an integrated master schedule and/or integrated master plan
- Pro-active communication skills both virtually and face to face with internal and external customers
- Motivated and disciplined with a strong desire to succeed, learn, and drive positive change
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with OnePager and Power BI
- Experience with SharePoint and Project Server environment
- Experience with U.S. Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP)
- Experience using JIRA
