Summary:

Atomica is seeking a Mask Design Junior Engineer with experience in photolithography processes. We are looking for someone who can support existing processes and develop new processes for our numerous programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry or chemical engineering. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with responsibilities spanning mask design and process optimization.

Objectives:

  • Utilize L-Edit Layout Software to design and create photomasks for MEMS and IC processes.
  • Ensure accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with process design rules.
  • Deliver mask designs on time to meet fab schedules.
  • Manage the tape-out process, including final layout reviews and approval for photomask manufacturing
  • Contribute to yield improvement by incorporating feedback from process engineers.

Capabilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as L-Edit, KLayout, and SolidWorks.
  • Basic knowledge of photolithography and semiconductor fabrication (this is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design rules.
  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams (process, product, test).
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
  • Must be a US person as defined by ITAR (US Citizen, Green Card Holder, Refugee or Asylum Seeker)

Compensation: 

Engineer I

$75,000-95,000
