Position Overview

Blue Acorn iCi is seeking a highly organized and technically skilled MarTech Platform Operations Admin to serve as the operational owner of enterprise event technology platforms and supporting marketing asset operations. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement of marketing technology platforms while ensuring reliable data flow between event platforms, marketing automation systems, CRM platforms, and downstream reporting tools.

Working closely with Marketing, Campaign Operations, Engineering, Data, and Web teams, you will help deliver seamless event experiences while supporting scalable operational processes across enterprise marketing programs.

Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform Administration & Operations
  • Serve as the operational owner for enterprise event technology platforms and supporting MarTech solutions.
  • Administer and optimize platform configurations supporting global marketing initiatives.
  • Manage event themes, templates, landing pages, registration experiences, forms, and branded marketing assets.
  • Support day-to-day platform administration, user requests, and operational activities.
  • Monitor platform health and proactively identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Platform Integrations & Operational Support
  • Monitor and validate data flow between event platforms, marketing automation systems, CRM platforms, and downstream marketing technologies.
  • Troubleshoot attendee registration, synchronization, lead flow, and integration issues across multiple systems.
  • Validate registration workflows, attendee status updates, and marketing data accuracy.
  • Investigate discrepancies across marketing platforms and campaign data.
  • Perform root cause analysis on integration failures and coordinate resolutions with Engineering, Data, and Marketing Operations teams.
  • Support lead validation and ensure accurate movement of marketing data throughout the technology ecosystem.
  • Maintain documentation of recurring issues, troubleshooting procedures, and operational best practices.
Marketing Assets & Templates
  • Create, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot event-related marketing assets, including Marketo email templates, Email Editor 3.0 fragments, reusable components, and campaign assets.
  • Maintain and enhance templates, landing pages, forms, registration experiences, and reusable marketing components.
  • Partner with Marketing users to ensure assets align with platform capabilities, design standards, and operational best practices.
  • Provide guidance on template usage, configuration options, and available functionality.
  • Partner with Campaign Operations teams to ensure Email Editor 3.0 components align with campaign standards, branding requirements, and operational best practices.
  • Troubleshoot Email Editor 3.0 configuration issues, template rendering issues, and asset-related defects impacting event communications.
Platform Enhancements & Testing
  • Execute PAT/UAT testing for platform enhancements, integrations, templates, and platform updates.
  • Validate configuration changes and production readiness prior to deployment.
  • Support event readiness reviews for major marketing programs.
  • Validate registration experiences, forms, integrations, and downstream lead processing before production launch.
  • Participate in post-event operational reviews to identify opportunities for platform and process improvements.
  • Recommend enhancements that improve platform usability, operational efficiency, and overall user experience.
Operational Excellence
  • Manage incoming Workfront support requests and prioritize work based on business impact, event schedules, and operational urgency.
  • Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides for event technologies.
  • Identify recurring issues and recommend long-term improvements to platform operations and integrations.
  • Support governance, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Promote consistent platform standards and best practices across Marketing and Campaign Operations teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with Marketing and Campaign Operations teams to support the successful execution of global marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Marketing Operations, and Web teams to resolve cross-platform operational issues.
  • Communicate platform updates, enhancements, known issues, and operational changes to business stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and enablement to users leveraging marketing technology platforms.
  • Participate in operational reviews, release readiness activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Splash or a similar enterprise event technology platform.
  • Experience with Marketo Engage.
  • Expertise with Email Editor 3.0, including fragment/component configuration, template management, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting marketing technology and event operations.
  • Experience with platform administration and configuration.
  • Experience monitoring and troubleshooting integrations across enterprise marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting enterprise marketing platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Marketo email asset management and campaign operations.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $90,000 – $150,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
