FabFitFun is seeking a seasoned executive to join our team and lead our communications efforts for business (investors and commercial partners), consumer, and internal audiences. Our ideal candidate has a track record of defining and activating communications strategy and execution while adapting to rapidly evolving business circumstances. This leader needs to understand and drive towards both hard business goals and brand love in partnership with other key functions.

• Define communications strategy and drive execution for....
  • General and trade business audiences: Elevate FabFitFun as an innovative thought leader in the e-commerce space and a premier commercial partner for consumer facing lifestyle brands.
  • Consumers, including international markets and target audiences (for example, Gen Z): Act as a crucial partner on brand development and messaging, collaborate with the range of marketing and other cross functional partners. Collaborate with partners in paid, owned, and organic media teams to deliver cohesive consumer messages across all touch points.
  • Internal audiences: Drive innovation on employee communication from messaging to new platforms and media. Act as a thought partner to executives in shaping the messaging and delivery to team members. Be an integral partner in defining company values and culture with the rest of the executive team and HR.

• Drive significant innovation on channel strategy beyond traditional media. Demonstrate strategic thinking and leadership in navigating and cultivating traditional media relations, social media thought leaders relations, and broader consumer sentiment on social media.
• Act as a thought partner and guide founders and other executives to be the most effective spokespeople for FabFitFun.
• Be adept at leading cross-functionally through the occasional public relations crisis, managing stakeholders and resources to the most effective outcomes for FabFitFun.
• Ability to share and work as a collaborative team player in a fast paced environment cross-functionally.
• Manage and mentor employees on the public relations team.
• Be a beacon of FabFitFun culture and values for all team members and a model of cross-functional collaboration.
• Foster a feedback-driven culture.

What You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, PR, or a related business field
• 15+ years of communications experience, both in-house and in an agency, with experience in lifestyle, wellness, e-commerce, and/or tech industries.
• History of driving results for growth companies with business and consumer audiences.Experience with investors and Board facing communications is a plus.
• Track record of developing innovative solutions and new media for both internal and external audiences
• Solid business acumen, deep understanding of brand building, excellent writer and storyteller that exercises great judgement
• Act as a collaborative cross-functional partner that can work effectively across multiple facets of an organization to drive innovation and results.
• High energy, bias towards action, cool under pressure, and bend towards continuous improvement
• Ability to consistently give timely, constructive feedback and initiate opportunities for others to provide feedback to you
• Positive mindset that seeks to not only identify business challenges but also offer solutions or improvements
