CREXi is seeking an SEO expert to join our team and help drive our organic growth. The ideal candidate for this role has a deep understanding of SEO best practices, and has demonstrable experience planning, executing and measuring SEO strategies and tactics.

You’ll be part of a growing, cross-functional SEO team, working alongside a talented team of product managers, designers, engineers and marketers dedicated to making CREXi the best place for buyers, tenants and brokers to transact. You’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in our organic growth as we scale.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working in SEO

  • Experience leading SEO and organic search technical efforts on a highly-trafficked consumer-facing website

  • A solid understanding of on-site SEO, and how changes to crucial elements (including content, links, metadata and others) may impact organic performance

  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager

  • An understanding of SEO tools like Ahrefs, BrightEdge, and Moz, with the ability to suggest additional SEO tools to add to your stack

  • Extensive experience using keyword research tools (e.g. STAT, SEM Rush, SpyFu, Keyword Planner)

  • A passion for A/B and multivariate testing to consistently optimize to the best result

  • A strong analytical thought process and ability to interpret findings to product and engineering teams

  • Command of Javascript, HTML, and CSS, with particular emphasis on how they impact SEO performance

  • Experience in web server architecture and the potential impact on search engine visibility

  • Web content development/publishing experience, using WordPress

What You’ll Do

  • Perform detailed technical SEO audits in support of upcoming product and feature launches, to ensure SEO compliance

  • Audit inbound link quality to ensure search engine compliance

  • Perform regular SEO audits to ensure we are progressing in our efforts

  • Identify opportunities to A/B test against hypotheses and assumptions

  • Work alongside our web analytics team to identify the impact of algorithm updates

  • Regularly audit competitors to identify SEO/content strategy opportunities

  • Monitor Google Search Console to ensure that we remain technically compliant

  • Perform keyword research to support the company’s content strategy

  • Proactively leverage modern SEO resources to identify trends and algorithm updates

Location

Our headquarters is located in trendy Playa Vista, California. With plenty of restaurants, shopping, and the beach nearby, we cannot ask for a better location! We also have an East Coast office in Miami, FL.

I have an open door policy. I also like to walk around the office regularly and chat with the team. We also do monthly company-wide meetings. Another way I make myself accessible is by doing brown bag lunches with employees.
