Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the CEO/Founder, you will be responsible for the overall direction of UpKeep’s growth, digital, creative, and product marketing programs 
  • You and your team will own all global marketing strategies including demand gen, lead gen, digital advertising, SEO, SEM, content delivery, branding, pricing, website management, and channel partnerships 
  • Function as a critical liaison across all go-to-market teams to bring our product marketing vision to life 
  • Partner with Sales to generate Sales Qualified Opportunities, decrease CAC, increase ACV, maximize lead funnel performance and conversion, develop ABM strategies, and drive ARR 
  • Partner with Customer Success to increase CLV, implement expansion and upsell strategies, promote customer engagement, foster partnerships, and reduce churn rates 
  • Partner with Product to establish vision, messaging, branding, and multi-year product roadmap planning through customer/user persona building, journey mapping, pain point research, competitive market analysis, and performance-focused data analysis
  • Oversee Marketing Operations while developing best practices and evaluating the scalability and effectiveness of our CRM tech in collaboration with Sales and RevOps 
  • Provide direction for solutions-focused and competitive ABM collateral that will enable revenue-generating teams to effectively communicate differentiated value propositions across multiple verticals
  • Establish and manage budgets for marketing programs, paid advertising, and vendors
  • As the passionate and fearless leader of a remote marketing team, you will provide direction, process/program development, performance management, and career development training for your staff 
  • We’re looking for someone to implement both proven methods and creative new strategies to grow our market share, outsmart and outlast our competitors, and connect deeply with our customer-base to put UpKeep in the hands of every maintenance technician in the world

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years as a VP or CMO at a fast-growing, early-stage B2B SaaS company 
  • Demonstrated track record partnering with Sales and Product to implement go-to-market, upmarket, and market segmentation strategies for complex enterprise software 
  • Analytical and results-driven with a expert-level understanding of methods to decrease CAC, improve lead funnel performance, and increase ACV and CLV 
  • Proven ability to manage a growing marketing team within a gritty and fast-paced environment (experience managing a remote team is a plus)
  • Proficiency with marketing automation software (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and a keen understanding of modern B2B marketing and CRM tech
  • Experience overseeing a large digital advertising spend
  • Experience with self-service product lines and post-sale expansion strategies is a plus
  • Forward-thinking, flexible, and eager to take a creative approach to reach potential customers in meaningful and helpful ways 
  • A desire to partner with UpKeep’s CEO/Founder and Board of Directors to remain aligned on OKRs and the long-term vision of the product and company

We are a mostly remote team; however, our HQ is in Westwood Village near UCLA. Local employees love that we're surrounded by restaurants and stores.
