The Sr. Marketing Manager - Demand Generation drives demand through integrated marketing efforts, creating and executing programs that initiate interactions with buyers to inform and influence their buying decisions. Role has strategic, programmatic and operational responsibilities related to demand creation programs to foster new business growth and client retention. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who knows how to collaborate with internal marketing colleagues and other Veritone departments.
What You’ll Do
- Develop an integrated demand creation program strategy that supports demand creation objectives for sourced and influenced pipeline and revenue
- Create overall campaign framework for demand creation in assigned target segments
- Use demand creation program metrics and how to measure against objectives to gauge success
- Ensure a cohesive creation, execution and testing/optimization strategy exists to increase engagement
- Follow demand creation best practices
- Collaborate with Marketing teams on acquisition and engagement demand creation programs, and ensure final tactic selection is appropriate for program design
- Partner with Product Marketing and Sales teams to coordinate, communicate, optimize and accelerate the impact of demand creation programs
- Oversee database of existing client and prospect accounts and the key roles within them
What You'll Need
- Four+ years of experience in B2B demand generation
- Solid background in executing digital account-based marketing (ABM) tactics
- Management of project, budget and resource allocation to support success and efficiency
- Proven experience working on Marketing Programs or Demand Creation teams executing programs to drive pipeline and revenue
- Bachelor’s degree, ideally in marketing or Business
- Familiarity with Forrester/SiriusDecisions demand creation models and frameworks a plus
- Media & Entertainment industry market experience a plus
- Understands B2B buyer’s journey and can identify opportunities to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration
- Marketing to a range of B2B buyers using a wide variety of tactics
- Leadership and initiative to drive to achieve desired objectives
- Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to ensure proper return on demand creation marketing investments
- Understands how to use integrated delivery mechanisms, processes and technologies in an overall demand creation approach
- Collaborative. Strong relationship builder with marketing and sales functions
- Planning/project management and can execute on a number of tasks simultaneously
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Self-starter, Goal-oriented
