What we’re looking for (psst: you!)
We are looking for a revenue-centric, data-driven demand generation leader to spearhead CareerArc’s demand generation initiatives. You are strategic in your thinking with an experimentation mindset and the hands-on experience necessary to make things happen. You use data and sound judgment to make bold decisions, ruthlessly cutting out programs and campaigns that underperform and dreaming up and optimizing campaigns that move us closer to our goals. No detail or data point is too small – every marketing touchpoint is attributable, money and time are spent wisely, and we operate efficiently. You love to take charge and are able to seek out resources and collaborate with others to arrive at the right solution. 

What you’ll do
You’ll be responsible for the scalable, predictable, and repeatable process of generating and accelerating pipeline by guiding prospects all the way through the marketing funnel in support of our commitment to Sales and our jointly owned revenue goals. The responsibilities of the role include strategy development, program execution, team management, and process optimization related to inbound and outbound demand generation. 

  • Own the strategy development, program execution, and optimization of results-oriented, scalable inbound and outbound demand generation initiatives
  • Cultivate a high-performing, metrics-driven, inbound and outbound demand generation organization
  • Establish KPIs and measure performance of programs, campaigns, and tactics to assess effectiveness and determine ROI. Make and implement recommendations for improving demand generation and conversion metrics and optimizing spend
  • Lead strategic development of multichannel client acquisition campaigns 
  • Translate strategies into detailed budget and channel plans, working with internal team members to update forecasts and report actuals monthly and quarterly 
  • Collaborate with the marketing, sales, and client success teams to scope campaign strategies and requirements to meet business objectives for client acquisition
  • Research and analyze new acquisition channels
  • Develop test plans and experiment with acquisition initiatives and channels, then evaluate performance to identify the highest impact opportunities
  • Create dashboards to allow real-time access to KPI performance against goals
  • Manage a small in-house team of marketers and SDRs as well as vendors and freelancers and collaborate with other marketing team members to launch campaigns and meet strategic goals

About you

  • 8+ years developing, managing, and scaling multi-channel B2B inbound and outbound demand generation campaigns cost-effectively with clear ROI-focused metrics, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • Strategic thinker with meticulous attention to detail and metrics-based decision-making
  • Ability to articulate market insights, growth goals, and progress against those goals based on key data analyses
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of testing and optimization strategies, and ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly
  • Experience allocating, measuring, and optimizing spend across programs, channels, and tactics
  • Experience in HR tech a plus
