About the Role and Your Impact

As Sr. Director of Brand Marketing you will be responsible for the strategy and execution that scales Community into a world-class brand. As the leader of all things brand, you will build and manage the team responsible for defining and managing Community’s positioning, voice, and point of view, all tied to our mission and purpose of powering communication at scale and keeping people directly connected through meaningful conversations.

You will report to the VP, Marketing and take ownership of bold and breakthrough brand campaigns, moments, and experiences that build awareness and advocacy. Working cross-functionally throughout the Marketing team you will define our story and map it to an evolving marketing calendar and channels. You will have the opportunity to work with incredible Leaders across the Community platform from influential small businesses to public figures including Stacey Abrams, Bobby Hundreds, Megan Thee Stallion and brands including the NFL, Williams Sonoma, The New York Times, and Warner Music Group.

This is a unique opportunity for a strong leader in consumer marketing or brand strategy to be a foundational player as we build and grow a world-class marketing team.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop the brand marketing strategy, budget, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional channel partners.
  • Own and manage a marketing calendar tied back to key brand and cultural moments.
  • Oversee Social Media and Content Marketing teams to drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • RFP, manage, and collaborate with external and creative AORs.
  • Collaborate with PR & Communications to align marketing calendar across owned and earned channels.
  • Partner with our Creative Studio to concept and deliver award-winning marketing and advertising campaigns across digital, print, OOH, and more.
  • Work with Marketing and Business Operations to define and deliver key insights around brand health and campaign performance.
  • Build and manage a world-class team of brand marketers.

What You'll Bring

  • 10+ years in brand marketing in-house or at an agency, with team building/management and campaign strategy experience.
  • Extraordinary storyteller with strong creative sensibilities and a passion for all things creative, brand and design.
  • Portfolio of innovative marketing and advertising campaigns that pushed boundaries and delivered results.
  • Proven experience developing and managing a marketing budget across creative, advertising, media, and more.
  • History of managing digital channels, especially social media to drive engagement, awareness, and growth goals.
  • Analytically minded, with proven experience defining and delivering KPIs and key insights to show ROI for brand initiatives.
  • Experience working with top-tier public figures, talent, and global brands.
  • Exceptional communication skills: you connect empathetically and have the ability to express ideas clearly and influence cross-functionally and vertically.
  • A player-coach mentality: you’re prepared to roll up your sleeves in a startup environment, but have experience operating and building/following processes within a growth-stage company
