DIRECTV is seeking a Sr. Dir, Product Marketing (Base Experience) to join our Marketing team. The Sr. Director designs, develops, and implements launch strategy and programs focused on the base experience to reduce churn in accordance with IOP goals. This role reports into the AVP of Base Management as part of the larger Base Management- Retention team. This strategic leader will lead a team of Marketing Strategists to deliver incremental saves to the business, by developing campaigns and programs targeted at the base experience (e.g., product marketing, content engagement, equipment experience). In this supervisory role, the Senior Director will have significant cross-functional coordination and stakeholdering with Product, Go-To-Market, Creative/Agency, and Operations. Additional key responsibilities of this role include:

• Short term and long-term marketing plan development including strategic planning and tactical planning.
• Design promotional programs to improve base experience with a focus on engagement (product engagement, content engagement).
• Develop test/learn campaigns to reduce churn.
• Leverage various communication channels to launch and enhance strategic marketing campaigns: including email, direct mail, on screen, digital, and social.
• Develop proactive solution catalog (next best action) by test & learn / piloting process.
• Accountable for save target attainment and profitability/FCF of saves.
• Evaluate the performance, career planning, and development for the team.
• Influence decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in similar area of responsibility and 2+ supervisory

• Analytical skills required to drive continuous monitoring of results and data-informed recommendations for future planning and project
• Attention to detail, ability to take ownership, extreme time management skills, and ability to ruthlessly prioritize
• Relationship management, exceptional communication skills, and extensive knowledge of product strategy and marketing are required
