Social Media Manager
The Social Media Manager will be our inhouse subject matter expert and be responsible for creating and executing on our social media strategy. This person will be responsible for both our paid and organic social media plan. He/She will be responsible for increasing our brand awareness; customer, partner, and industry influencer engagement, and lead acquisition on key social sites such as Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Media and Publisher sites, blogs, and emerging social media platforms. The Social Media Manager will also be responsible for enhancing our Social Media activities and our company presence online in a meaningful and measurable way.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute on an end to end social media strategy to help drive growth, engagement, and leads
- Establish and manage a list of all relevant social sites, groups, and forums
- Manage all Social activity, including Social components of Integrated Campaigns
- Develop targets for KPIs on overall Social channel success and be responsible for performance in reaching those targets
- Coordinate with Event Marketing on Event Promotion and Event Follow-up Social campaigns, including developing targets for KPIs and reporting on performance in reaching those targets
- Assess the number and level of Social influencers within the company, and develop methodology to expand, including developing targets for KPIs and reporting on performance in reaching those targets
- Create and execute an end to end influencer marketing strategy
- Coordinate with Corporate Communications on Press Release and Media Relations Social campaigns, including developing targets for KPIs and reporting on performance in reaching those targets
- Project manage the creation of Informational Posting campaigns, including the promotion of content and blog articles, and manage all Informational Posting campaigns, including developing targets for KPIs and reporting on performance in reaching those targets
- Manage all group and forum engagement campaigns, including developing targets for KPIs and reporting on performance in reaching those targets
- Establish, drive, maintain, and manage Social Media methodology or strategies for the following areas:
- Periodically check social sites and media and industry sites for relevant posts, articles, and blogs to comment on, and oversee such commenting, in alignment with Brand Strategy
- Prospect Mining methodology to identify prospects on social networks
- Metrics and KPIs for overall health of social media programs including Sales engagement of prospects, Account Management relationship building, Customer engagement, Partner Management, and Thought Leader/Influencer cultivation
Qualifications:
- Ability to champion and evangelize the importance and need for effective corporate social media campaigns
- 3+ years of professional experience running social media campaigns for a business or organization
- Understanding of the basic principles of public relations and/or marketing
- Exceptional creative writing and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive topics
- Ability to interact with many people, through multiple interruptions, while staying on task
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Must be focused on achieving goals
- Must be a team player and collaborate well across departments
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
