Social Media Coordinator

Grindr's creative team is looking for a Social Media Coordinator who breathes the current state of social, with an understanding of using analytics to optimize engagement and drive business success. Ideally this candidate has previous social media management experience for another major brand.

Responsibilities

• Scout/curate social content and secure appropriate permissions for reposting
• Organize and schedule media assets and track their use and performance
• Interact and engage with our followers across social platforms
• Assist and coordinate different brand marketing initiatives
   

Desired Requirements

• 0-2 years experience managing the social accounts for rapidly-growing and/or major brands
• Extremely creative with a strong understanding of LGBT culture and demographics
• Funny and clever - deep knowledge of pop culture, viral trends, and current language
• A very strong pulse on the current landscape of social media, best practices on individual platforms, and creative ways to drive engagement and establish branding on each
• Graphic design skills and familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, or other comparable design tools
• Great organizational and planning skills
• Effective knowledge of social media management tools
• An obsessive commitment to keeping our assets and copy aligned with our brand voice and brand guidelines
• Bachelor’s Degree
