SEM Analyst
We are looking for a results-oriented Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Analyst. A successful candidate will have excellent creative skills, the capacity for making data-driven decisions, and aptitude working with automated campaign management tools. The candidate should be able to effectively extract, organize, and aggregate large data sets and provide actionable insights to optimize the marketing campaign’s targeting, creatives, and bidding.

The Role You Will Have
- Create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize Paid Search campaigns in Google AdWords, BingAds, and other search engines
- Conduct hands-on bid optimization; Develop and implement strategies for keyword bidding, keyword selection and match type, account structure, quality score optimizations, audience testing, ad copy testing to meet and exceed ROI targets
- Communicate test results and recommendations from programs with team and senior leadership
- Ability for in-depth understanding of key industry metrics and the ability to recognize how they might impact the business (CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, Quality Score)
- Provide detailed analysis of key metrics and program tracking techniques to increase overall search marketing performance efficiency
What You Will Bring
- 2-3 years of Search Engine Marketing experience, managing high volume ad buys
- Deep understanding of search bidding strategies (tCPA, enhanced CPC, tROAS), automation tools, keyword selection, prospecting vs. retargeting
- Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills to measure the success of the SEM programs and to expand upon that success
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to articulate clearly and effectively over the phone, through email, and in writing
- Exceptional quantitative skills and aptitude including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, vlookup)
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics)
