The Marketing Team:
The Ruggable Marketing Team is collaborative and dynamic with clear growth targets. Working closely with the Design, Operations, Product and Executive teams, the team aims to elevate our brand status and broaden our customer appeal. We learn fast to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
Job Summary:
Sitting on the E-Commerce team, the Retention Marketing Manager will create strategies and execute campaigns around engaging our customer base to drive repeat sales, loyalty and advocacy. A successful candidate will be data-driven, have experience with retention marketing, CRM and/or loyalty programs, and is excited about driving increased LTV.
What You’ll Do:
Retention Campaigns:
- Analyze, optimize and expand retention focused channels, including referral, loyalty, and direct mail programs
- Understand our customer segmentation and customer journey; Using data and creativity, explore and test new segments; Understand customer motivations, shopping patterns, and how we can continue to engage and delight them.
- Develop retention strategies that enable 1:1 marketing personalization
- Plan CRM campaigns that will increase repeat purchases across channels including email, SMS, direct mail, content, retargeting, loyalty, and/or media
- Work closely across teams to execute, measure and evolve initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for A/B tests in segmentation and messaging to constantly improvement in KPIs
- Review the competitive landscape and implement best practices for loyalty and retention marketing
Communication:
- Work with our data teams to create dashboards for monitoring KPIs
- Report on wins, challenges, and opportunities pertaining to retention KPIs
- Prepare materials to internally communicate business priorities and strategy for LTV and repeat purchase efforts
- Own the post-purchase view of our customers, and project manage CRM campaigns across teams with clear project plans and milestones outlined
What You'll Need to Have:
Required:
- 3+ years working on email, CRM, loyalty, retention, and/or lifecycle marketing campaigns
- Data-driven and analytical; strong Excel skills
- Ability to manage projects across teams and with competing priorities
- Strong communication skills
- Excitement for learning and improving; self-reflecting, takes feedback well, provides ideas
- Adaptable to new technology and changing ad landscape
- Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
Preferred:
- Startup and/or e-commerce experience
- Experience with Google Analytics and media platforms
