Product Marketing Manager (Audience and Solutions Marketing)

Do you take an external facing, customer-led approach to marketing? Are you passionate about starting with ‘why’ for the end user? Can you segment an audience, position compelling solutions to their needs, and develop messaging to effectively target them? Can you balance strategic thinking with bias-for-action to grow a start-up within a bigger organisation? If so, we want to hear from you.

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager, majoring in Audience and Solutions Marketing, to join Procore’s growing EMEA Marketing team in France, reporting to the Director of Marketing, EMEA. As Procore’s first in-country Product Marketing hire in France, you’ll have the opportunity to shape Procore’s go-to-market in the region from the ground up. You’ll dive deep into our target market - speaking to customers and prospects, digesting market intelligence and research, and becoming an expert in the construction industry. You will develop audience segmentation, targeting, positioning, and compelling messaging that is the starting point for all campaign activity, and provides prospective customers with the information they need to make buying decisions quickly and confidently.

This role reports to our Marketing Director, EMEA and will be based remotely in France. International travel may be required, specifically within territory when borders reopen and travel safety improves.  There may be an expectation of traveling into an office on a regular basis, once established in France. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead go-to-market planning and strategy in France for audience segmentation and solution positioning.
  • Be the voice of Procore’s customers in France, and the regional audience expert for French construction to the rest of the Procore business.
  • Keep a close eye on the competition and ensure that Procore is positioned for success against them in the France market.
  • Work closely with the EMEA Campaigns Team to develop effective campaigns by providing clear audience segmentation, targeting, positioning, and messaging.
  • Support the development of content including campaign assets, customer stories, and thought leadership.
  • Identify relevant industry groups to join and events to attend, and develop thought leadership to be delivered at these events by yourself and/or other spokespeople.
  • Provide the France Sales Team with the talk tracks, content, and assets they need to effectively convert prospects into customers.
  • Enable our communications agency partners - providing messaging guidance for customer stories, PR editorial, and organic social.
  • Partner with your colleagues in the Global Product and Solutions Marketing team to localise product content for the France market and own the local product release roadmap in terms of prioritisation and messaging.
  • Support the identification of product/solution requirements and feed them back to Global Product teams.
  • Where necessary, be ready to contribute written content including case studies, email templates, blogs, articles, website and other supporting documentation.
  • Monitor sales funnel metrics to identify where and why we are winning and losing, and what can be done to improve conversion rates.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience of SaaS/B2B/high-tech marketing experience.
  • Ability to work in France.
  • Fluent written and oral in French and English.
  • Experience performing a Product Marketing or similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience working in a B2B industry, SaaS/technology business is desirable.
