Role Overview
InStride is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to take our product marketing team to the next level. You’ll be the second member of a critical and impactful team, with high visibility.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Product Marketing, you will be responsible for communicating the features and benefits of our products through compelling storytelling. You will be expected to be an advocate for InStride - driving demand for our platform. You will partner closely with teams across the organization, specifically Product, Sales, and Marketing to establish positioning and messaging, build product launch strategies, run and analyze product releases, develop sales enablement content, and drive customer engagement through ongoing marketing programs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging around new feature roll outs that resonate with our target buyer personas.
- Coordinate go to market efforts for new product launches and feature releases, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Provide support for the sales team; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
- Support Senior Manager in gathering insights around the buyer’s process, milestones, and information needed to drive sales, success and marketing asset development
- Support Marketing and engagement peers to develop effective sales and success materials that communicate key benefits and value to prospects
- Leverage buyer and product research to develop messaging and programs that drive growth
Ideal Profile
- 2-5 years experience in a B2B strategic marketing or product marketing role. SaaS experience desirable.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent requisite experience required.
- Experience working with sales teams to manage and prioritize requests
- Experience developing marketing assets, from succinct slides to one pagers and user guides
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a high bar for quality
- Excellent people skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
- Strong quantitative skills to support data-informed decision making
- High EQ, comfort with ambiguity and adaptability in a rapidly growing and changing environment
