We are looking for a Manager, App User Acquisition to build, strengthen, and effectively manage Tala’s UA strategy to fuel our growth. As a member of the global performance marketing team, you will be responsible for leading the development, planning, and execution of our performance marketing strategies alongside our local marketing teams.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, launch, monitor, optimize, and report on paid app install campaigns across Facebook, Google, ad networks, and ad exchanges.
  • Evaluate key performance metrics and optimize to achieve growth targets.
  • Extract channel insights and transform them into actionable changes that will deliver sustainable scale.
  • Develop A/B test plans, measure performance and refine user acquisition strategy.
  • Manage the creative process from end to end, identifying gaps and solutions to improve campaign performance that aligns to our target segments.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to improve internal reporting.
  • Provide context to both local marketing teams and cross-functional team members on performance marketing strategies and tradeoffs.
  • Act as main point of contact for all UA initiatives as part of the Mexico country squad, support ad-hoc and non-traditional local partnerships and digital campaigns.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of mobile app user acquisition experience.
  • You speak LTV, CPA, CAC, ROAS, CPM, CVR, and CTR fluently.
  • Must have proven expertise of Google AdWords for mobile (UAC) and Facebook Ads Manager. Additional platforms are a plus. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and optimize a performance marketing budget across top app install channels.
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners, mobile attribution, and app event user funnels.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and proactive, hands-on mentality.
  • Creative problem-solving acumen, with the analytical rigor to verify or invalidate assumptions.
