We are looking for a Marketplace Coordinator - Temp to help us scale the operations of our new marketplace on Well+Good, The Well+Good SHOP.

You’ll Report To: Senior Director, Business Operations

A typical day as a Marketplace Coordinator - Temp might include:

  • Support the curation and selection of new products on The Well+Good SHOP.
  • Curate new collections to the marketplace and swap homepage imagery as needed. 
  • Identify sub-pages on the site in need of long term optimization based on competitive research. Connect with the development team to understand scoping requirements and determine prioritization. 
  • Work with the marketing team to populate products for monthly dedicated shoppable emails. 
  • Assist with weekly 'what's new on the shop' reports, track and communicate inventory status to stakeholders.
  • Support merchant growth by identifying new brands to add to the marketplace. Outline cold emails for Business Development leads to send to potential new merchants, track and schedule partner communication.
  • Quality control & review of The Well+Good SHOP e-commerce site. Submit requests to 3rd party partner (Bonsai). i.e. accurate product descriptions, image quality, new bugs, move sold-out products, image load time, ingredient list included.
  • Check for product, site, and article widget bugs and connect with our 3rd party vendor (Bonsai) to resolve.
  • Pull weekly product/SKU reports - understand details about active products on the marketplace.
  • Create a weekly marketplace insights report using all metrics available to inform various decisions across the marketplace. 
  • Organize and create a knowledge management system of all marketplace resources, reporting, and operating materials. 
  • Conduct Marketplace/ecommerce competitive research - outline competitor product selection, email, and social marketing tactics.
  • eCommerce trends research - weekly round up of interesting topics to share with the Marketplace team.
  • Support the marketplace team with ad hoc administrative tasks.

You’ll be successful if you are a self-starter, like to solve problems, and collaborate with multiple teams.

What You Have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Marketing, Operations, and/or Merchandising is required (internships included)
  • A keen eye for what's trending in wellness, ability to spot new brands or products to feature on The Well+Good SHOP.
  • Fluent in G-Suite, and can learn new software platforms quickly.
  • Knowledge of the Shopify interface a plus but not a requirement.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to think outside of the box when it comes to problem-solving.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to find small errors on the marketplace and self-correct with little oversight.
  • Strong communicator and enjoys working with multiple teams.
  • Not afraid to wear multiple hats - no job being too small or too large.
  • Above all, is eager and enthusiastic to learn and work alongside a collaborative team.
