We are looking for a Marketing Operations Strategist to support our growing marketing team. This position will contribute to the day-to-day execution of email communications, with a focus on campaigns that drive engagement and conversion to achieve customer growth and retention. This is a hands-on role where you’ll assist with the creation of emails, identifying target audiences, working cross-team, and complete ongoing A/B testing and reporting of results. 


You’ll be part of our Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager. Our team is defined by high levels of creativity, positivity, and accountability. What You'll Do

  • Day-to-day execution of email programs for all business units, including; creating/segmenting lists, tagging links, scheduling emails, setting up tests, quality assurance
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the communications and marketing team to develop the email marketing calendar and create compelling email communications for various audience segments, including newsletters, surveys, event and product promotions
  • Build custom email templates and execute responsive email campaigns for internal marketing initiatives
  • Examine all creative assets to ensure that creative is optimized for delivery and performance and meets creative brief specifications
  • Coordinate creative reviews and approvals with cross-functional teams
  • Facilitate and document feedback and manage handoffs
  • Focus on segmentation execution, delivering specific messages to select audiences based on behavior
  • Test all messages to ensure emails are rendering correctly across major email clients, promotional codes are live and functioning properly, all landing pages and featured products are live and pricing coordinates between email and site
  • Build and optimize customer email journeys to increase engagement with the brand and drive conversion
  • Propose new A/B tests with the goal of improving our KPIs
  • Analyze test results and clearly communicate your learnings to the broader team
  • Stay current on the latest email marketing trends and technologies, as well as industry best practices and GDPR compliance

Who You Are

  • Degree in Marketing or related field
  • 2-3 years experience in a marketing role
  • Experience working with Hubspot, Salesforce, or other CRM tools HTML/CSS email development experience
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to optimize, and passion for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage various projects at once in an ever-changing environment, while working well with cross-functional teams
  • Efficient and nimble in concepting, piloting, and scaling new initiatives and ideas
  • Project planning including internal and external stakeholder management
