Team Overview


As the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, you will be a key member of the marketing team, directly contributing to the growth of our business. You’ll enable operational excellence by driving efficiency, process improvement, and scale. The Sr. Manager, Marketing Ops will build the foundations of how our team interacts with each other and stakeholders across the company.


This role will require a unique blend of marketing expertise, excellent communication skills, strong project management, people leadership experience and will be integral in helping Dave tell our story and the story of our incredible customers!

What You'll Do:

  • Develop tools and processes that allow the marketing team to operate efficiently and effectively and achieve our teams and companies strategic goals
  • Partner with marketing leaders to help identify and take action on operational challenges across the various marketing functions.
  • Tracking and reporting marketing dashboards in order to help make make data driven decisions
  • Author documents and presentations articulating marketing processes and sharing with stakeholders.
  • Help streamline communication internally within the marketing, communicating learnings and best practices
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and coordinate execution plans for marketing campaigns across acquisition, engagement, and partnership.
  • Help manage Marketing deliverables, ensuring projects are on deadline and assets are consistent.
  • Guide and track delivery of ongoing marketing pipeline, running recurring stand-ups and finding ways to unblock issues across functions.
  • Lead the marketing team through our key planning cycles: strategy and operating plans, and business reviews (quarterly, monthly, weekly).
  • Ensure all regulatory needs are met, in collaboration with our Legal teams, to run a workflow and control environment for quality and adherence to regulations and compliance
  • Seek counsel from the Legal Department on contract management for large scale partnerships and agency-led campaigns
  • Partnering with the Finance team to monitor monthly spend and facilitate reviews with teams to continually manage and modify allocated budgets as needed
  • Prioritize hiring, developing, and mentoring the team to ensure we have the roles and skill sets that we need to support company goals; with a commitment to inclusivity, diversity and employee engagement

What You'll Have:

  • 8+ years’ experience in marketing operations or project-management related roles
  • Experience with people management and demonstrated ability to build, manage, develop, and motivate a team
  • Strong influencing skills, with the ability to work within a matrix organization and adapt to and drive change
  • Strong communication skills to effectively disseminate priorities and strategy to different functions across the company
  • The ability to work cross functionally while managing simultaneous projects with schedule constraints
  • Experience assessing, developing and maintaining a strong marketing workflow
  • Understanding of product marketing and general marketing strategies
  • Familiarity with both traditional and emerging marketing channels and media
  • Experience partnering with copywriters and teams of designers, engineers, program managers, and product marketers 
  • A high level of organization, creativity and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, cope with rapid change and calmly adapt when new, time-sensitive priorities arise unexpectedly
  • Experience in project management tools like Jira, Trello, Asana, etc.
