Job Description
Marketing Manager to work with team on the implementation of marketing, promotion, communications and PR plan for NBCUniversal Studio Operation's local, regional and global production and post -production businesses. B2B marketing to the entertainment production community as well as B2C to non-entertainment entities for Special Events. Role to handle the financials for the marketing and events department.
Responsibilities :
• Interact with Marketing team on strategy, creative development and execution of campaigns to promote Studio Operations departments, services and talent within budget.
• Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, copywriting, creative input, maintaining art deadlines for both traditional and digital advertising.
• Manage financials for Studio Operations Marketing and Events department, including working with AP on submitting invoices, setting up new vendors, maintaining vendor records, assist with committed budget schedules and produce reports for finance and department tracking
• Assist in creating strategic non-paid media publicity campaigns - maintain and create relationships with publications, editors, and writers.
• Coordinate interview schedules with publications and NBCUniversal spokespeople.
• Assist in the booking, set-up and post data collection associated with tradeshows and sponsorships.
• Internal Communications - working knowledge of Studio Departments.
• Researching emerging markets and create exposure mechanisms to promote Studio Operations departments globally.
• Bring creative technology ideas and solutions that may strategically benefit the marketing area.
• Accommodate press activity on the lot for internal and external customers as needed.
• Accommodate tours for clients, executives and government officials.
• Social media marketing knowledge
Qualifications
Skills Needed :
• Excellent phone skills, copy and business writing, ability to interact effectively and easily with a wide range of people, creative, self-starter, well organized, excellent computer skills.
• Understanding of financial principles and programs
• Experience working with budgets, AP/AR a plus
• Understanding of technical product marketing.
• Broad based knowledge of marketing including traditional and digital.
• Focused on customers, growth and results driven.
• Succeed in a fast paced, rapidly changing production and post-production marketing environment.
• Experience with presentation and design software (PowerPoint, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, etc.).
• Creative visual design.
• Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.
• Competent in decision making, responsiveness, multiple tasks simultaneously in event management.
• Works well in a team culture.
Education Needed :
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of marketing experience
Additional Requirements:
