We’re seeking a high energy Marketing Communications Coordinator with excellent communication and organizational skills to support our Marketing Communications Manager. The ideal candidate will have at least one year professional experience in marketing, the ability to interact with different departments and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines. Additional candidate advantages include experience and skills in writing content, basic design layout, social media management, and video content.

What You Will Do

  • Assist in organizing and scheduling tasks related to goals and projects for marketing communications
  • Help plan and execute editorial calendars and initiatives across content, social media, and video marketing
  • Coordinate and communicate with teams in digital marketing, product marketing, sales, and design around content tasks and goals. Collaborate with Project Manager to keep priorities aligned and on time 
  • Perform support tasks such as posting blogs, posting videos, uploading press releases, updating and managing monthly customer newsletter, proofreading, implementing SEO into content, maintaining customer story/quote library, topic research, updating website content via WordPress
  • Serve as contact for customer referral activities. Work with internal stakeholders and customers to coordinate compelling case studies, testimonials, references, and customer reviews, including video testimonials
  • Assist with social media to eventually manage the social media calendar
  • Work on a variety of tasks as assigned and prioritized by the Marketing Communications Manager 
  • Work toward quarterly goals that will gradually show your readiness to take on more responsibilities 
  • Other duties as assigned

Prerequisites

  • Proven organizational talent to coordinate tasks, deadlines, and schedules
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Competency with MS Office and/or Google Suite 
  • Minimum 1 year professional experience in marketing
  • Professional references
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • Los Angeles based [Can travel to the office in Woodland Hills, CA - hybrid negotiable]
