Overview
The Marketing Analyst position is responsible for providing analytical support to the Marketing Department. Candidates in this role will have broad knowledge across all marketing channels, which ranges from traditional marketing sources such as direct mail, calls & leads to digital marketing sources such as email, social media, SEM, and SEO. Depending on the level of the candidate, they are expected to have familiarity to proficiency with marketing experience and analytical software skills. In this role, the individual will design, develop, and maintain reports, conduct data analysis, and provide actionable insights to improve the business. Experience in mortgage or similar industry is a plus, but not required.
Job Description

  • Develop and report on both scheduled and ad-hoc analyses of new and existing campaigns.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM) used to generate, distribute, and report on channel performance.
  • Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, effectiveness, and business impact.
  • Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
  • Develop dashboards and automate the marketing reporting process.
  • Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
  • Collaborate with data team to leverage tools and techniques developed.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 3+ years of strong analytic abilities for all marketing channels
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an adjacent field, or equivalent education, training and/or work-related experience.
  • Experience with database tools such as SQL, R, Oracle, Tableau, or Python.
  • Experience/Proficiency with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Statistical Analysis Software; Database experience required.
  • Fluent in campaign analysis and reporting across all standard marketing KPIs.
  • Strong familiarity with marketing funnels and attribution analysis.
  • Experience with high-dollar transactions and complex business funnels is a plus.
  • Strong critical thinking, prioritization, organization, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
