Role Overview
InStride is seeking an experienced Lifecycle Marketing Manager whose main responsibility will be to turn top-of-funnel leads into qualified, ready-to-talk sales prospects. This new B2B role is a high-profile growth opportunity to develop a lifecycle marketing strategy from the ground up, in coordination with Sales and Customer Success.
As a function of Marketing, this role will act as a champion for prospective customers throughout the journey funnel and will lean into a user-centric, test-and-learn approach. Responsibilities
- Act as owner of the customer journey, develop the journey map, gain team alignment with Marketing, Product, Customer Success, and Sales.
- Build targeted and segmented marketing campaigns with outstanding messaging to delight, educate and further engage top-of-funnel leads, turning them into sales-ready qualified prospects.
- Establish closed-loop analytics along with Marketing and Sales Operations to understand the metrics at which our inbound marketing activity engages existing leads, turning them into customers, and continually refine our process to convert prospects and engage customers.
- Optimize marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email and additional content initiatives (landing pages, webinars, etc.).
- Work with Sales Operations to identify and implement lead handoff and database management optimizations.
- Work with partners to craft and implement new email templates and follow-up communication strategies based on audit results and campaign needs.
- Use enablement tools including brochures, web copy, and presentations that support cross-sell and upsell.
- Gain deep customer empathy and understanding of the challenges and triumphs that our users encounter as they use InStride.
- Analyze and monitor the impact of programs, share data stories with key partners, and use insights to constantly improve our approach.
Ideal Profile
- 5+ years experience in a Lifecycle Marketing, Email Marketing, or Marketing Operations role for a B2B brand.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent requisite experience required.
- In-depth experience working CRMs like Marketo and Salesforce.
- Experience developing and implementing scalable lifecycle marketing strategies while using dynamic content and data feeds / connected content within HTML email templates.
- Proven success in developing sophisticated trigger-based campaigns in partnership with internal teams.
- Strong analytical skills and has developed reports and dashboards for key partners.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, time management, and project management skills.
- Highly motivated, engaging, and able to work optimally within a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality results on time.
- High EQ, comfort with ambiguity, and a “no job too small” startup mentality.
