House Brands Director
FabFitFun is searching for a House Brands Director to join our team! Reporting to our Head of Product Development, this person will be responsible for planning, developing and directing marketing efforts to increase the value and performance of our in-house brands, Summer & Rose, ISH and Chic & Tonic. The ideal candidate will have seasoned brand management experience with proven ability to work across several retail product lines in the Women’s lifestyle vertical.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure growth and consistency with product line strategy for our in-house brands
- Accept brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies for actionable plans, brand positioning, and go-to-market strategies
- Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
- Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
- Analyze how our brands are positioned in the market and crystalize targeted consumers insights
- Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
- Serve as the creative liaison between our marketing team and the development and design departments to create eye-catching retail product packaging
- Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
- Provide leadership through offering quick and accurate advice and creative input to help advance our brands and overall team performance
- Keep a pulse on market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
What You’ll Bring:
- 8 to 10 years experience in a buying, brand management or marketing related position, preferably within a Women’s lifestyle brand
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix and how it relates to e-Commerce, merchandising and retail
- Demonstrated success identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
- Ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field, MBA preferred
- Highly creative with ability to think out of box for innovative growth strategies
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Comfortable working with numbers, metrics and spreadsheets
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
