Summary
Grindr is seeking an experienced Growth Marketing Specialist to support the Growth team by increasing the effectiveness of CRM efforts of our subscription based mobile application products. This position requires a mix of online marketing, customer service, retention and subscription experience. The successful candidate will be joining a collegial, motivated team environment in our West Hollywood Headquarters.
Responsibilities
- Develop A/B testing strategies to increase CRM efforts
- Onboard, retain, build loyalty to increase the lifetime value of our customers utilizing our CRM
- Identify areas for revenue growth via email and pushes
- Maintain a communications calendar for email and push
- Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize funnel performance
- Manage database including creating and updating lists, segmenting leads, and maintaining data hygiene
- Delivering value-added analyses to support marketing decisions
- Optimizing our Lead Management and Marketing Automation Tools
- Developing benchmarks to set expectations and goals for campaign performance
- Reporting/Analysis, track and analyze key performance metrics (like click-to-open & click conversion rate), how they impact overall success, and coach cross-functional "brand" teams for improved metric attainment, in addition to other key metrics reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Communication, or a related area
- 3+ years working in retention and subscription of mobile apps, eCommerce, online services, or dating sites
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to look at complex data and form actionable steps and initiatives
- Prior experience analyzing and using Business Intelligence methods for marketing campaigns
- Must have a strong knowledge base of new technology and wireless products, self-motivated, energetic and goal oriented
- Strong track record of setting and achieving metrics driven goals
- Ability to think strategically and creatively
- Strong time management
- Ability to be self-motivated as well as work both independently and as part of a team
- Innovative and creative, with excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Braze (formerly AppBoy), and Periscope
