The Marketing Team
The Ruggable Marketing Team is collaborative and dynamic with clear growth targets in mind. Working closely with the Product, Operations, and Executive teams, the team aims to exceed revenue targets, elevate our brand status and broaden our customer appeal. We learn fast to adapt to the ever-changing e-commerce landscape.
Job Summary
The Email & CRM Coordinator will create email and SMS campaigns to engage customers and leads, drive orders, and foster loyalty. A successful candidate will be data-driven, and have experience email, SMS marketing and/or CRM. The Email & CRM coordinator should be excited about driving increased email and SMS open rates, click-through rates and conversion rates.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create, QA, and schedule email and SMS campaigns
Update emails and SMS campaigns with drag and drop editors, and editing HTML templates
Build out automated flows that enable 1:1 marketing personalization
Identify opportunities for A/B tests in segmentation and messaging
Propose content calendars to effectively delight our customers
Monitor KPIs and provide analysis into trends
Troubleshoot email performance when needed and propose solutions
Understand our customer segmentation and customer journey
Work closely with media, customer service, dev, creative, and data teams to plan and execute campaigns
Leverage promotions and launches to drive results
Review the competitive landscape and implement best practices for email and SMS programs
Communication:
Report on wins, challenges, and opportunities pertaining to retention KPIs
Develop strong relationships with our in-house creative team to create visually stunning and clickable email and SMS marketing campaigns
Work with our data teams to create dashboards for monitoring KPIs
Qualifications and Skills
2+ years working on email, SMS, CRM, loyalty, referral, or lifecycle marketing campaigns
Data-driven and analytical; strong Excel skills
Experience with A/B testing in email or SMS
Planning content calendars for CRM campaigns
Reporting on KPIs, troubleshooting errors, and identifying new growth opportunities
Previous experience with ESPs, such as Klaviyo, Sailthru, Iterable, etc.
Working knowledge of any of the following is a plus: HTML, CSS, Django, XML
Ability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders
Strong communication skills
Excitement for learning and improving; self-reflecting, takes feedback well, provides ideas
Team-player, hard-working, organized, and goal-oriented
Startup and/or e-commerce experience is a plus
Experience with Google Analytics or media platforms is a plus
