Ecommerce Marketing Specialist
Blueprint Prep is seeking a hands-on, full-time, in-house Ecommerce Marketing Specialist that will provide technical assistance and hands on support for our website. As a member of the Marketing team, the Assistant Manager will manage the day-to-day Ecommerce responsibilities such as adding and modifying products, implementing promotions & building out and managing marketing content. Reporting to the Ecommerce Marketing Manager, they will also help to execute major growth initiatives and testing strategies to optimize website performance. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the Ecommerce Marketing Manager, Brand Managers, the Design team, and other appropriate stakeholders to participate in brainstorms and coordinate planning & execution details for website updates. Our ideal candidate is team-spirited, fast learning, and has a bias-for-action mentality. The ideal candidate can execute on tasks independently, has a high attention for detail, can grasp project requirements quickly and deliver high-quality, error-free work.
What You'll Do
- Support the next generation of doctors and lawyers as they pursue their dream careers by ensuring an excellent user UX
- Work with the Ecommerce team to formulate hypotheses, coordinate with the Design team for mock ups on different experiences, and execute A/B tests accordingly with the proper tracking mechanisms set in place.
- Help manage and improve our promotions on our website, making timely and accurate updates to the site for promotions to limit customer service calls.
- Being involved in planning new e-commerce initiatives as we continue to grow our ecommerce business
- Build and maintain new pages as we bring new enhancements to our educational products.
- Work with copywriters and brand managers to ensure that website content is accurate, error-free, and up-to-date.
- Ensure that all links and website functionality are working properly and depending on the level of involvement either personally fix the issue in a timely manner or escalate to different departments who can then appropriately resolve the issue.
- Occasionally perform website audits for content accuracy and identify paint points or poor UX, and areas of improvements/enhancements to reduce those frictions.
Who You Are
- 2-3 years of experience in a hands-on Ecommerce role
- Ability to build web pages from scratch using a mix of a WYSIWYG and page builder tools
- Experience with Magento and Wordpress or similar platforms
- Extreme attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, stellar time management skills
- Can easily interpret ideas and bring that direction to life independently
- Ability to complete projects on time and without errors

Requirements:
- HTML and CSS. JS and JQuery a plus
- Project Management experience using collaboration tools like Asana
- Experience with working various stakeholders to collect project requirements
- Understanding of SEO best practices a plus
- Experience checking Google Analytics to monitor changes in website traffic trends that would signal potential issues with page functionality
- Experience with User Analytics tools like Heap or Mixpanel is a plus
