Your Role
As an E-Commerce Optimization Manager at Ruggable, you will report to the Head of E-Commerce and be responsible for helping us revolutionize the way consumers shop for our Rugs. We want to set the standard for the “made-to-order” experience and want to envision and implement a seamless, personalized approach to ensure all shoppers find the best Rugs for them. Your work will involve developing strategies supported by customer and product analytics, and collaborating with the technology, marketing, and product teams to implement those strategies on the Ruggable website. The ideal candidate won’t be afraid to ask and answer tough questions and push beyond traditional e-commerce practices. Your responsibilities will include the following:
- Deliver performance insights and provide actionable recommendations from the data to shape e-commerce strategy and investments
- Build and maintain automated reporting dashboards that communicate key e-commerce performance metrics to cross-functional stakeholders
- Provide insight into how customers shop on the Ruggable website by leveraging data from our e-commerce and analytics platforms, as well as from customer research
- Envision optimal customer journeys on the website that drive shoppers to purchasing the best Rugs for them and promote an enjoyable shopping experience
- Develop and evaluate initiatives to improve effectiveness of the e-commerce website and support the e-commerce team with prioritization of these initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, product, and creative teams to deliver projects that promote optimal customer journeys and experiences
- Ensure the best data, frameworks, models, tools and processes are in place so that all decisions are supported by the most accurate and relevant analyses
Requirements
Strong candidates will have the ability to break down problems logically, develop hypotheses and solutions, and evaluate them with data. They will have experience working with Google Analytics and Shopify and analyzing data from these platforms. They will be excited to work directly with technology and business partners to refine strategies and implement initiatives.
- 2-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital products, and/or business analytics
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and key performance levers
- Strong analytical and creative problem solving
- Strong Excel, with additional experience in Access or Tableau preferred
- Strong Google Analytics, with additional experience in Shopify preferred
- Experience using advanced search and merchandising platform
- Experience building effective reporting dashboards and processes
- Experience working with technical project managers and developers
- Experience partnering with business teams to deliver and implement solutions
