Job Summary:

 

Reporting to VP, Media, the Director, Social Media + Influencer will be responsible for managing and growing a team of social media and influencer managers focusing on growing awareness, revenue, and client health and will act as the expert for all applicable clients. They will be accountable for driving the success of social media and influencer tactics through both internal education and external thought leadership. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with the VP, Paid Media to develop and continue to evolve the social and influencer strategy for Hawke Media  
  • Act as a point of escalations for broad and complex client issues that require additional analysis and leadership  
  • Prioritize and develop a strong relationship with our key social media and influencer clients 
  • Develop robust content strategy for clients under the Hawke Media strategy  
  • Manage and develop direct reports by providing mentorship, structured assistance, instruction, and inspiration for growth  
  • Make sure best practices and processes are continually enforced for all social media and influencer activities 
  • Create social content calendars and forecasts of actual business results for our clients 
  • Architect data & measurement strategies to show a clear ROI from our efforts  
  • Play an active role in pitches for client renewals, upsells, and new accounts when a higher-level of subject matter expertise is needed  
  • Build relationships with our dedicated social media and influencer strategists to ensure team implementation of best practices and identify opportunities  

 

Job Skills: 

 

  • 7+ years of experience in Social Media Marketing and Influencer Marketing  
  • A history of developing business-driving integrated Social Media and Influencers programs for clients ranging from SMB to Fortune 100 and spanning B2B, B2C, eCommerce, CPG, and Retail  Must have proven track record of social media content creation and ability to grow social presence for growing brands  
  • Proven experience building, growing, and managing teams 
  • Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of data & analytics, market research, and strategic frameworks  
  • Experience managing complex, multi-platform digital and content marketing strategies across clients  
  • Successful track record of helping to build and present strategic digital approaches, recommendations, and tactics for clients  
  • Ability to translate digital & industry trends into succinct, compelling, conversational language for a variety of C-Suite and Marketing audiences  
  • Deep understanding of agency-style business operations and how to leverage performance tactics to ensure long-term customer success and continued revenue growth  An individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and a passion for building a new department and service offering within an agency  
  • Strong client and team leadership qualities, comfortable contributing to company’s thought leadership on paid media industry topics
