Head of Marketing
Calling all marketing maestros! We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to take the reins on overall strategy, development, and tactical execution of Sure's marketing programs. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of brand messaging and management, content marketing, product marketing, media relations, event management, and more. Your goal is to drive new client growth, produce sales enablement tools that accelerate pipeline growth, and reinforce our compelling brand story. You’ll be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and creating a diverse range of content including presentations, blog and web copy, customer success stories, and more. Most importantly, you are an outcome-oriented professional with experience marketing an enterprise technology solution. You’ll work directly with our executive team to further our company's position as a leading market force, and develop and maintain effective working relationships with sales, business development, engineering, product, and recruiting. What you'll do:
- Build upon Sure's existing positioning and messaging to further secure its place as an industry thought leader
- Define and drive enterprise marketing programs to generate/accelerate/reactivate sales pipeline across various stages of the buying cycle and to various personas
- Translate value propositions into impactful sales enablement, including pitch decks, case studies, sales sheets, videos, collateral, white papers, and more
- Be an expert on the insurance software market, monitor industry trends and keep a close eye on competitors
- Develop, implement, and iterate on full lifecycle B2B demand generation campaigns, using a variety of channels and tactics based on campaign goals and target audiences to enable the sales team to qualify and win deals faster
- Write content and develop programs that foster Sure's thought leadership in the industry, resulting in higher product and solution awareness
- Direct and execute social media presence for the company (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
- Own public relations strategy and execution from writing and distributing press releases to securing media interest
- Own planning and coordination of industry trade shows and speaking opportunities
- Collaborate with and manage external agencies as needed such as public relations and digital marketing
- Manage Sure's website including updating page, blog, and press content, optimizing for SEO, and managing inbound lead forms
- Leverage marketing automation tools to efficiently distribute content and measure performance
- Grow a team of high-performing marketers
What you'll bring
- Head of 10+ years/Director 7+ years B2B marketing experience, preferably for a SaaS technology company
- Experience in product, solutions and/or corporate marketing, preferably at a large technology or software company
- Brilliance at positioning, building assets that are clear, concise, and consumable
- Eye for design with the ability to clearly communicate design needs to graphic designers and/or produce graphics yourself
- Strategic and tactical capabilities and creative yet disciplined mindset
- Unparalleled written and oral communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful business outcomes
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to build strong relationships across functions and a reliable partner to sales and product management
- Proven ability to scale and develop a team of marketers
- Experience in the insurance industry is a big plus
- Experience with Webflow, Hubspot, and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
