About the Role


The Director of Marketing Technology will serve as a critical link bridging the data, product and marketing teams, by managing the technology infrastructure that enables our marketing campaigns. Reporting to the General Manager of Nextbite, this role will provide guidance and leadership to a team overseeing our customer relationship management data and tools infrastructure. You have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build a consumer marketing technology platform and team to manage it, largely from scratch in a fast-growing, well-funded and incredibly exciting industry.

The impact you will have:

  • Document business requirements and expected outcomes and map to appropriate marketing technology investments
  • Work closely with cross functional teams to identify vendors, manage solution approval, and implement the investments and tools to scale marketing initiatives
  • Serve as a super-user and product evangelist for a variety of digital tools
  • Serve as a technology liaison to champion change management, including implementation of new marketing technology rollouts
  • Oversee training of marketing software and experience deploying self-service capabilities
  • Know the priorities when it comes to tracking and measuring marketing performance and oversee the ability to derive intelligence and actionable insights for marketing teams
  • Cultivate the career development of team members, including ad and email campaign specialists

What you bring to the role:

  • 10+ years' managing marketing technology
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
  • Demonstrated ability to combine strategic thinking with effective tactical execution
  • Proven success in managing teams
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable working with multiple enterprise stakeholders and ability to build consensus
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing technology trends, as well as established marketing/technology best practices
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the marketing technology tools for both B2C and B2B organizations
  • Team leadership and project management experience, especially cross-disciplinary and cross-organizational teams
