We’re looking for an Executive Protection Detail Lead to join the Global Security Team!
What you’ll do:
Provide safe and secure environment for senior executives, family members, and other designated principals domestically and abroad
In a professional, discrete manner, ensure the health and safety of senior Snap executives in all aspects of life; home, office, traveling, attending events, and other activities, to include leading and/or partnering with Snap Executive Protection Specialists, Residential Security Officers, Security Drivers, consultants and contractors
Conduct complex advance protective planning, risk assessments and analysis, and collaborate closely with with other Snap business units to ensure confidentiality, access control, asset protection, and other security matters are adequately addressed
Schedule and manage intricate logistics and travel arrangements; anticipate and plan multiple contingencies
Build and maintain a network of contacts and relationships throughout Snap Inc., law enforcement and government agencies, and at travel destinations to ensure appropriate protective measures are in place
Understand the risks to the organization and Snap Inc.; recommend and implement security measures to improve security for our people, facilities, information and operations
Oversee and maintain individual and team operational and travel budgets and expense reporting; assist with executive protection team administration and program management
Travel extensively, both internationally and domestically up to 50% of the time; work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays; support residential security and transportation operations as needed
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Acute attention to detail, with a professional demeanor, and highly developed interpersonal communication skills
Focus is on safety, customer service, prioritization, and constant learning
Demonstrable experience with progressive leadership roles and responsibilities in executive protection, event security, advances and site surveys, and international travel and logistics
Excellent verbal and written communicator. Uses tact and diplomacy in all interactions and is comfortable interacting with senior executives and VIPs
Operates confidently and fluidly in varied international business and social environments; is culturally aware and has knowledge of other languages
Practices proactive risk management: identifies, understands, assesses, and mitigates threats to the company and people while not stifling creativity and fun
Flexible, resilient, and highly adaptable. Works well independently, but also in a team environment
Excellent judgment, decision making, time management, and prioritizing skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
10+ years multi-national security experience, including at least five years in a protective services role
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
Valid passport and willingness to travel
Valid California BSIS Guard Card
Valid California BSIS Firearms Permit
Valid California Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) license or LEOSA eligible
Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and for long periods of time; ability to lift luggage, equipment and other heavy items
Preferred Qualifications:
Federal law enforcement officer with a background in executive protection
Valid EMT Certification
