Demand Generation Marketing Manager
BlackLine is looking for a detail oriented and passionate Demand Generation Marketing Manager to join a high-performing Marketing team. This role will be responsible for scaling, developing and executing global demand programs to support lead and revenue targets for Blackline. This individual will also support demand generation execution and budgets and be accountable for the B2B lead generation results for all BlackLine's target audiences and key markets, including enterprise and mid-market. The position interfaces extensively with teams in product marketing, corporate and customer marketing, sales operations, field marketing, creative services, corporate communications and field sales.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute high-impact multi-channel demand gen programs and campaigns designed to drive qualified leads and generate pipeline for the global sales teams
- Prepare full media planning and buying process to adhere to allocated campaign budgets
- Building segmentations to deliver more targeted and relevant messaging to improve engagement and conversion of prospects
- Utilizing the latest marketing automation, account-based marketing and other components of marketing tech stack to execute on campaigns and programs
- Developing new testing plans across all components of a campaign, and make swift recommendations and/or changes on campaigns
- Leveraging data to make intelligent and informed recommendations and decisions for paid investments
- Providing actionable insights and recommendations for improving the effectiveness of our demand generation efforts
- Support in collaborating with product marketing, corporate and customer marketing, sales operations, field marketing, creative services, corporate communications and field sales to understand Blackline's strategy across the globe and to implement demand generation programs
- Identify new ways to optimize existing programs while implementing growth opportunities for additional campaign media investments
- Support and manage the budget creation, allocation and weekly/monthly maintenance of forecast to actuals.
- Analyze the effectiveness of demand gen activities while also focusing on improving marketing KPIs such as CPM, CPL, CPO and CPA.
- Select and solidify relationships with data management vendors who can assist with database growth and cleanliness
- Partner closely with the Sales teams to develop and execute inbound lead follow up, nurture, digital marketing strategies and events
- Support cross functionally with a range of programs and tactics including data requests, CRM configuration, engagement programs, lead scoring, account-based marketing programs, email, etc.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree required
- 3+ years of marketing and lead generation experience in B2B tech industry
- Experience in a B2B SaaS or technology marketing capacity preferred
- Passion for all things demand generation and lead acquisition
- Proficiency in SalesForce (or other CRM tools ) and marketing automation tools
- Content Marketing or Product Marketing experience preferred
- Experience in online marketing with a diverse portfolio of marketing tactics including but not limited to email marketing, webinar, content promotion, and paid social
- Self starter, reliable team player with strong initiative and the ability to thrive in a high growth environment
- Well-organized and can juggle multiple work streams at once and consistently produce results on time
- Strong written and verbal communication skills needed
- Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities and translating data into actionable strategies
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to partner successfully across all levels of the organization
- Bonus points: Experience with Bizible or attribution reporting.
