About the team:

The CRM Team is a highly cross-functional group that sits at the heart of the Member Experience Team and works in close partnership with Marketing and Creative, eCommerce, Product, Data, and Community Support. We design and execute member lifecycle campaigns that ease onboarding, drive engagement, and nurture loyalty, conduct member surveys, track key member metrics, and steer the development of our communication platform.

Who we're looking for:

As our CRM Marketing Manager, you’ll play a fundamental role in our CRM function by designing multichannel marketing campaigns across email, push and direct mail that drive engagement throughout our member journey. Customer IO and SendGrid is your playground. “Right people, right message, right time” is your mantra. And you love analytics, almost as much as you love bikes and running. If this is you, then shoot us a note! Zwift is looking for a super motivated person to fill the role of CRM Marketing Manager at our global HQ in Long Beach, CA. 

What you'll do:

  • Design and deliver our CRM marketing programs across email, push and direct mail to meet business objectives for customer acquisition, engagement and retention 
  • Create, target, A/B test and measure CRM marketing campaigns against key audience cohorts 
  • Report weekly on KPIs ensuring activity is optimized through the use of appropriate tools and methods and aligned to communication plans 
  • Act as the internal traffic controller within Zwift Marketing, to ensure the proper reach, relevance and harmonize the competing priorities for CRM marketing promotions 
  • Publish and coordinate CRM marketing calendar, request and manage assets, and develop briefs in coordination with the creative and brand team 
  • Day2Day liaison with internal copywriters 
  • Integrate eCommerce opportunities which deliver deeper customer engagement and increases average revenue per member
  • Have an on-going enthusiasm for making recommendations for improvement and optimization 
  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to further to develop and refine a clear CRM strategy 

What we're looking for:

  • 3-5 years relevant experience in multi-channel marketing (email, push, direct mail)
  • Expertise in email best practices, including segmentation, deliverability, copy and design approaches, CAN-SPAM, GDPR compliance, and list health 
  • Strong analytical skills, understanding of A/B testing and holdout test methodologies, ability to draw conclusions from data and take action accordingly 
  • Demonstrated project management experience with ability to indirectly manage and build consensus across diverse teams, including creative, engineering, and analytics 
  • Excellent attention to detail and prioritization skills 
  • Self-starter with high degree of motivation, ability to meet deadlines and to manage multiple projects 
  • Working knowledge of sending campaigns through standard email service providers, basic HTML, email-centered CSS, and Excel

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with localization and managing multi-lingual campaign pipelines
  • Familiarity/competence with Segment.io, Customer.io, Sendgrid, Periscope and/or Amplitude
  • Zwifter or someone who loves physical exercise
