Overview and Responsibilities

Pluto TV is looking for a Social Media Community Manager with creative and strategic marketing skills, a strong writing background, and someone who is an excellent team player. This role will be fully responsible for engaging with Pluto TV’s social media community!

 

Working closely with the Social Media Manager, the Community Manager will be responsible for bringing the Pluto TV brand to life across the social media ecosystem. Specifically on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (with a dash of LinkedIn, Tik Tok, and YouTube). These duties may expand as needs arise.

Responsibilities: 

  • Spearhead all social media community management in coordination with Marketing and Brand team
  • Monitor all social media conversation on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter through comments and direct messages; engaging with fans in a fun, timely, and meaningful way and always in the Pluto TV brand voice
  • Maintain communication with Marketing, Brand, PR, and International social media teams making sure to align on social media strategies and key talking points
  • Proactively and strategically contact fan communities on and off social media in order to bring awareness to the wide-variety of content on Pluto TV (Dr. Who fandoms, Star Trek fandoms, The Price is Right fandoms, and many many more!)
  • Engage with top fans of Pluto TV and ideate new ways to embolden them as organic brand ambassadors
  • Use our extensive library of partner brands to further amplify marketing priorities
  • Identify and use fan bases of relevant influencers to expand reach and build awareness for the Pluto TV brand
  • Work closely with Programming team to ensure responses accurately reflect specific IP and align with programming schedules
  • Pull and present reports highlighting trends in conversation and/or escalating any significant patterns in user experience issues
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience team to put together clear, concise, and genuine responses to users in need of technical assistance
  • Ideate and assist in building out social media marketing calendar for Pluto TV Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-4 years experience in marketing with a strong writing background
  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)

  • Excellent teammate (this role will involve working with several teams across Pluto TV)
  • Excellent creative writing skills
  • Strong, clear communication skills
