The Role
The Chief Marketing Officer will be a member of Procore’s Executive team. The CMO will be responsible for leading the team that plans and executes all marketing activities to achieve financial and strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have considerable senior leadership experience in marketing and thorough knowledge of B2B marketing principles.
Specifically, the Chief Marketing Officer will:
Will lead a team of 150+ employees on a global scale. Provide clear, consistent leadership, management and mentoring for your direct reports and the broader organization. Inspire, empower and motivate the organization, leading by example.
Lead our global marketing teams and direct the execution of various marketing functions to include: Product Marketing Management (PMM), Partner Marketing, Brand and Content, Demand Generation, Field/Regional Marketing, Events, Customer Marketing and more
Develop the company’s global marketing strategy ensuring it supports company and revenue objectives, translate the strategy into execution and results.
In partnership with our Chief Revenue Officer, create a go-to-market strategy building a coalition across the senior leadership team to deliver.
Further develop and manage our brand including extending into new audiences and markets
Align with sales and go-to-market teams to produce demand creation efforts that fuel revenue pipeline so that teams can meet or exceed revenue targets
Drive increased product adoption, user satisfaction, and customer advocacy through the delivery of customer-centric experiences that help the world build better.
Lead a growing and diverse marketing function while creating a sense of community and guiding the team through the evolution of a high growth business
Professional Qualifications
Current or prior CMO experience with 10-15 years of global Marketing and Marketing leadership experience
Experience leading demand creation efforts to generate B2B SaaS sales pipeline
Proven experience and success across all disciplines of marketing. This includes managing multiple layers of marketers; evidence of shaping customer and data-driven strategies, and driving the successful delivery of complex omni-channel campaigns, and successful partnering with the product and sales organizations.
Inspirational and data driven leader passionate about building amazing organizations
Has led a substantial global marketing function for a medium-to-large size company (5,000+ employees, and $1B+ in revenue)
Has driven high-growth companies through intensive expansion phases across global markets
Domain expertise in digital, brand, product, content, event marketing, demand generation, partner marketing
BA/BS or equivalent, MBA a plus
Experience serving the construction industry is a plus
Experience across SMB, Mid-Market, Enterprise, and ecommerce B2B revenue motions a plus
Willing to travel as needed to headquarters in Carpinteria, CA
