Campaign Planners then form and lead campaign teams, drawing on people and resources from across Communications Management Services, to execute campaign communications plans and measure campaign performance.Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to Communicators supporting an assigned Business Unit (BU) or Enterprise function. Maintain an intimate understanding of the strategies and priorities of the assigned BU/Enterprise function and engage as a member of the extended BU/Enterprise function Communications team.
  • In close collaboration with BU/Enterprise function Communicators, develop robust, multi-channel communications campaigns to support specific enterprise and business unit priorities, projects, events and milestones. Leverage communications best practices to develop and execute consistent, high-impact campaigns tied to specific objectives.
  • Form and lead campaign teams, drawing on people and resources from across Communications Management Services, to project-manage and execute the tactics and deliverables defined within the Campaign communications plan in a timely manner.
  • Throughout a campaign, collaborate with Campaign Performance Specialists to monitor campaign performance against predetermined KPIs tied to campaign objectives, and refine campaign execution as necessary for optimal results.

This position has been identified as a virtual opportunity and does not require applicants to live in Chicago, IL. There may be some travel on occasion.Employer not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with corporate communications strategy, tactics and channels
  • Experience in tailoring message to suit/target specific audiences
  • 3+ years of experience Communications planning
  • Experience with management of complex, multi-channel communications projects
  • Experience delivering results against business objectives
  • 3+ years of experience leading cross-functional and/or project teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience developing and executing process improvement initiatives to its successful completion
  • Experience with the utilization of KPIs, data analytics and other tools to measure and optimize campaign strategy and tactics
  • Experience with communications strategy development and project management
  • Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives
  • Experience with Project Management
  • Experience spearheading creative projects within the constraints of a large and complex brand
  • Experience working for and/or with advertising, PR and creative agencies, including account management best practices and contract negotiations
