THE OPPORTUNITY: AFFILIATE MARKETING STRATEGIST

We are in need of a clever, data-driven, growth-minded strategist as we continue to expand our affiliate publisher strategy. If you’re a seasoned strategist in affiliate marketing, content creation, product curation, native advertising/content, and generally obsessed with winning on the internet, we want to meet you.

Specifically…

The Affiliate Marketing Strategist will partner with the Commerce Editor in all daily aspects of the commerce strategy, from reporting, copy editing, and product scouting, to interfacing with freelancers, testing, optimizing, and advertising. Responsibilities include (but aren’t limited to):

• Writing, editing, and testing affiliate content
• Rigorous testing and optimization of content
• Copyediting and optimizing freelance submissions
• Product scouting and product database management
• Development and management of new partnerships to increase revenue potential
• Testing and optimizing new strategies to improve and meet departmental KPIs
• Leading and optimizing content strategies and verticals to be advertised across platforms (FB, Snap, Instagram, Pinterest, Google)
• Leveraging GA data for insights into content performance and new strategies
• Ensuring compliance with all affiliate partner policies
• Competitive intelligence reporting

Requirements

• At least 3 years working in a related field (affiliate, eCommerce, agency, etc.)
• Previous strategy experience (eCommerce a major plus)
• Proficiency in WordPress and other standard CMS platforms
• Proficiency in Google Analytics, G-Suite, Excel, and Adobe CS
• Strong, data-centric analytical skills
• Excellent (and clever) written and verbal communication skills
• A love of working in a fast paced environment
• Self-starter, avid problem solver, energetic go-getter
• No Drama
