Job Description

In this role you will:

  • Create and distribute collateral, and content (copy & video) through marketing channels; including social media, advertising, website, email marketing, and other digital media including print
    Manage social and video media accounts
  • Create, organize, update, and share marketing assets
  • Write and edit copy or video for marketing channels
  • Create all types of content for, and make updates to, our websites
  • Create, monitor, and optimize marketing campaigns
  • Create automated marketing email campaigns
  • Report on marketing and revenue activities and effectiveness through analytics, campaigns, evaluating response rates and ROI and make recommendations on maximizing revenue
  • Identify and execute ways to connect with the media, art community, and key influencers domestic and international to raise awareness of our programs
  • Implement communications and marketing channels to targeted audiences
  • Develop, attend and implement a marketing strategy for classes, workshops, events, exhibits, fairs and community functions
  • Collaborate with the President and VP on the continued strategic development of different programs
  • May be required to travel

Qualifications

Your experience includes:

  • Two current years of marketing experience, preferably in arts
  • Ability to excel independently, meet deadlines, and efficiently manage time
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Very comfortable learning new software and data base systems
  • Proficiency with MailChimp, WordPress, Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics
  • Expert level with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Accomplished in creating flyers, postcards and banners using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and communication skills
  • Creative thinking, ability to prioritize tasks, and budget efficiently 
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure, with multiple deadlines and on various projects
  • Professional and customer-focused with strong relationship building skills
  • College degree preferred in Marketing
